Glycosyn LLC was founded in 2002 to research, develop and market
products based on 30 years of pioneering research into the biochemistry and biology of human milk. Products are in development to combat infant diarrhea, the annual cause of over 2 million deaths worldwide; to inhibit traveler’s diarrhea; and to diagnose and treat other chronic and fatal infant and childhood diseases, including necrotizing enterocolitis.
Glycosyn has partnered with
Professor Muhammad Yunus (Nobel Peace Prize, 2006) and
The Grameen Bank for
distribution of our products to the global poor. Our
research focuses on novel methods of glycan synthesis and investigating how these glycans inhibit specific human pathogens.
