Glycosyn and Grameen are collaborating to introduce, manufacture and distribute Glycosyn’s products for the prevention and treatment of diarrhea throughout Bangladesh. Glycosyn’s products will be produced at centralized, controlled facilities in Bangladesh and elsewhere in powder, solid or liquid form for incorporation into beverages and foods. In addition, they will be provided as a Glycosyn-developed engineered fermentation starter kit which would be distributed and produced locally by Grameen through its social business enterprise network. Professor Yunus and Grameen were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006.Glycosyn is developing similar agreements with other partners throughout the world.
